Seriously... Dark Ages : Cairo takes place at an interesting time both in 'world history' and in 'world of darkness' history. Essentially, it takes place in a period after the Tremere and Giovanni have all but usurped (and all but eliminated) the Salubri and Cappadocians. The Inquisition and Anarch Revolt are in their infancy in Europe. The Camarilla and Sabbat won't form for many decades now.

Meanwhile, all thirteen clans exist in the city of Cairo, Egypt in the year 1411 AD. The potential rewards are matched only by the potential risks.
