Sitting a good distance from the water, on the sand, is a woman. Nearly nude, with her legs crossed bofore her, her hands to her sides, she stares at the river. It almost seems as though she's waiting for something.

He walks by, then looks at the naked lady for a few minutes "Nice" He says to himself. He starts to walk again.

A pair of eyes sit on top of the water patiently watching.

When she cathces sight of them she stands, continuing to stare and begins to extends the tips of her fingers into claws.

She turns and begins look around for something. She catches sight of Quarrum leaving but, continues to look around.

A short time later a jackal comes out of the brush and approaches Echidna

She has it come closer. Picking it up, she nears the bank and looks down to the croc. The jackal wriggles in her arms as the croc's eye disappear beneath the water, ready for attack. She steps away from the water just before the croc pounces, leading it out of the water, and getting a better look at the size of the thing.

You are not the other... return to the depths.

She turns, jackal still in hand, and walks off toward the city. She strokes the jackal, calming it. Punturing her wrist, she offers it her blood and the half starved animal laps at it. So hungry is it that it bites her arm. She slaps the top of his head and he whimpers. Stroking his head again, he calms down. Once he's had enough, she sets him down and goes into the city, following Quarrum.

After the crock/ naked lady thing, Master Quarrum quickened his short stride to be well away from the scene.
